Meet Jane
I’ve been in practice for over thirty two years, on Long Island and Manhattan, focusing on what I believe are our most basic needs: love, trust, security and stability. Without these internal building blocks, our relationships suffer, as does our confidence. My work with you will help to strengthen your foundation.
I see adolescents, adults, and couples. I have advanced training in eating disorders and have many years of experience engaged in parenting guidance, and have helped women through times of transition: issues around fertility and infertility and moving through the cycle of menopause. I’m currently interested in thinking about how yoga and meditation can be used to ease the experience(s) of trauma and stress. I teach and supervise at the Suffolk Institute for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis (SIPP).
